I normally have a regular period. My husband and I had sex around my supposed ovulation date. For the first week I was sick to my stomach and it was just weird. I've been tired since then. My period was suppose to come yesterday, but all I had was some spotting on the toilet paper once and then again this morning. I took 2 tests yesterday and both were negative. Is there a chance that it might still be too early for me to test? I've heard to wait like a week after your period was suppose to come.

Yes, it might be too early, and you could be pregnant...usually it takes about a month for a drug store pregnancy test to show...and they do false negatives all the time. Go to your Dr. or go to your Planned Parenthood or local health dept. and have one done. The Dr. can do a blood test as well. WAIT, my sister-in-law says with a drug store test, try the first urine in the morning when you first get up...if you have to pee in a cup, then put it in the fridge until you can get a test...but don't save it for more than 24 hours. (she is an ob-gyn).

But good luck and sounds like you might be a mommy. Best wishes to you and hubby.

Yes there is a possibility you could be pregnant since you have some symptoms of pregnancy and you have a regular period that is late. So since your period is due now that means you ovulated about two weeks ago. It takes 6 to 12 days for the fertilized egg to travel to the uterus to attach and then a day or two for the egg to start secreting HCG which is what a pregnancy test detects in your urine. The spotting you have now maybe implantation bleeding or it may not be. There is a chance that you are testing too early or maybe your levels of HCG are not high enough yet. Wait about two or three more days. See if your period comes and if not then definitely test again.

I just had this happen to me...my period was due on the 13th of July and I had a tiny bit of spotting on the toilet paper that day and the next morning...I waited until the 15th to test and it came back positive....so wait a couple days and take another test...but get the one with the digital read-out that will say "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant" they are so much easier than trying to figure out if there is one line or two!! Good Luck, and Congrats (maybe) =)

Yes some people ovulate a couple of days late ( I am one of them) I am pregnant with my 4th now. With my last one I descovered I ovulate about the 19th day rather thatn the 14th day. Every time I took a test after a missed period it said neg. but when I retook a week later sure enough it was poss. Thats because if your ovulation doesn't fall on the 14th of your cycle then there is not enough hCG in your urine to be detected as pregnant.

To be certain you would have to go to a doctor. I had a friend who took kept getting negative tests for the first 2 months of her pregnancy. If you aren't ready to go to the doctor just yet, you could wait a week and then take another test.

It could be too early for a test. My test didnt show a positive until I was 4 weeks! You should make a doctor appointment and have blood work done if you want to know asap. Otherwise, get some vitamins and take care of yourself. Good luck!

Yes, because your body doesn't start producing HCG until after implantation(which is what the light bleeding could be from) so if you are just now having signs of implantation then your body hasn't produced the hcg needed to give you a positive test at home, wait a week then buy a early result prego test it test at 25 hcg, good luck

Get either EPT or First Response. They are more sensitive. Also when a woman believes that she is pregnant it will trick her body into displaying symptoms, such as nausea, sore breasts, and a late/missing period. And mommie2b is incorrect. If your period was due yesterday implantation would have already occured. Implantation takes place 7-10 days after sex.

Sounds like you could very well be. If you want wait for 3 more days and try a different brand of test.
If it comes back negative again I would see a doctor.
You could be or maybe your body is fooling you. Sometimes that happens if you really want it.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
