I got my packet information and am really considering joining. So the only money I have to put out of my own pocket..EVER....is the $100 for the starter kit?

I am a consultant. I'm slightly frustrated because it seems you may have been misled. You will probably have to invest more than the initial $100. You will probably want to have product on hand for customers and samples to give out as well as some of the tools they offer to help with classes and sales. Don't get me wrong, amazing company. Very hard work to make good money. Definately takes time and dicipline. But if you put your heart and lots of time into it, you will be fully rewarded.

this lady at my church sells it and she sells it at the church sometimes when we have these little functions. well i would help you but i dont kno any types of ways to make your own makeup. you just buy it from the stores because mary kay will just break your face out. and you will have bumps and everything.

I am in it....and yes it is fun...but lots of work...you have to be really commited to it to actually make some money at it!

It can be fun, takes a lot of work. hope you r ready to work your booty off. But if you do its worth it.
Avon may be cheaper, but marykay is better quality.
