Unconditonal love is = Love cares more for others than for it self.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't force itself on others. Love takes pleasure in the flowering of the truth. Love always looks for the best. Love keeps going to the end. Love doesn't fly off the handle. Love is the band-aid that you can't buy in the store. Love finds away to take care of things when you lest aspect it.

its when u reach a point in ur life when u realize that thru all of the mistakes uve made and thru all thehard times ...she was there. and when u make the decision to completely open ur heart up to her she tells u she s been thinking alot about going out and cheating on u and she doesnt love u anymore and says it in the most bonecrushing coldness that no words can explain then when ur already down feeling like ur not a man, she puts u down and tells u how pitiful u are. and all the while ur guts telling u that shes talking or seeing or has seen someone else and shes not saying. then u come to the conclusion that if its all true and thru all the pain ur love doesnt go fade, and u can actually forgive her & not throw it in her face.and theres only sadness and no anger you are now loving her unconditionally.

Of course! It's a mother's love for her children. And no matter how horrible they might be. (ie: bad attitude, drug addict, disrespectful, a pain the a*s...)

Its the things you want to do for someone you care about without wanting something back in return. Doing favors for those that love and you don't care if they say thank you. That's unconditional.

what a mother feels for her children is probably the closest we can come, Cause even tho people say they have it, there is usualy SOME condition, where they are not gonna be lovin' you!
In interpeting the term, It means (to me) that no matter how weak, or imperfect, ugly or sickly, Someone will love you, anyway, It's pretty hard to do. Maybe some really evolved tibetian monks are capable of it, I dont know.

The only unconditional love you will find on the planet is that of God the Father. I love my husband....but it is a choice I make every day. I love my child, but sometimes even he makes me CRAZY! and I just want to get away from him for awhile. Unconditional love is undeserved, often not aknowledged, and rarely reciprocated - but it continues. Read about love at www.blueletterbible.org.

I have to agree with most of the answers so far...I truly believe unconditional love is most common with a parent and a child. Especially a mother and her children. I love my husband very much, yet I felt a deeper, different kind of love for my child. I believe it's a "true" kind of love that is "unconditional".

A love that is forever and always forgiving. A love that no matter how many times that person hurts you, you still love them anyway (it doesn't mean you have to stay with them to continue to love them). A loved one that rejects you and then when they feel like it, comes back into your life; you let them. But if they were anyone else you'd still be angry and wouldn't allow them to do that to you. And yes, it really does exist.

it does exsist, that means someone or something like a pet or a baby and of course people too gives you love no matter what happens.

Unconditional love is enduring love even when you dont particularly like the person. Example.. I love my oldest son even though he isnt being very likable these days.

Willing to always want what is best for someone even when they arent very likable or loveable.

Yes it does exist. I have that for my husband and chidlren and mother.

love...unconditional, true, etc...love can be defined in so many ways. everyone has their own definition of love, any kind. unconditional love can be defined as loving someone no matter what, through good and bad. if they do something bad or hurtful, you forgive and continue loving them. it can only exist within the person's partner. but don't confuse obsession, lust or dependence as unconditional love! if you're being abused in any form and continue forgiving them that is not unconditional love that is insecurity, confusion and unhealthy!
