I concur with the others. If it is not alot of money then the risk is limited.

Check the volume of business the person has done and the feedback. If there are several transactions and the feedback all positive then you can assume you are safe. People who rely on eBay don't want negative feedback.

if you go to " pay now " part of what you purchased it will give you options.. the e-check is a computer check and you can set that up through ebay ( paypal ) paypal has several different methods of payment : echeck ( the item won't be sent until
the check clears ) and it clears your bank just like a regular check...

Money order or Certified check will guarantee funds to the seller and they can ship your item immediately. If you pay by personal check, it can sometimes take 7-10 days to clear and you will have to wait for your item to be shipped.

I would assume that they mean payment by way of check. There should be a mailing address on the closing auction invoice or at least further instructions.

Too bad you didn't buy something from my site . . . at least I accept PayPal! LOL

Best thing to do is to go to your local post office and purchase a MONEY ORDER. It'll cost less than $1.00. Well worth it. They'll tell you which part to keep, which part to fill out, etc.
