They are happy when they do not have to activate their brains.

Edna doesn't seem to have a sense of humor at all and seems rather unhappy. In fact, it appears that the unhappiness makes her happy

YES!! One of my very good friends is married to a man that is SUCH a fuddy-duddy!! We all went to a comedy club once (and the humor was pretty clean, you know, for a comedy club), and he sat there like a stone throughout the entire show...she had a great time, and he said he would never go back...she is so fun-loving and vibrant, and he is a miserable, serious, stick-in-the-mud. He always seems unhappy...I've known them for 6 years, and I don't think I've seen him smile once! To this day, I still can't figure out why they're married.....

There is no one with no sense of humor, they are just dull people with no life and yes I know people like that. They seem unhappy and this is because they make them selves unhappy, they just need to lighten up!

Yes and they all seem miserable, though if they have no sense of humor one can't really compare their mood to anything so I don't know.

Look at Ward Churchill, for example; I sincerely believe the man is incapable of lighthearted repartee, and he's the most miserable m.f. I think I've ever seen.

Sadly the guy that posted just after you did is the singular most unattractive, dry, sad, little person I've seen in many moons.

I bet everyone has a sense of humor, it may just not reveal in front of other people...
