I mean 'How many different universe's are there?' not that are in ours. Of course maybe there are atom size universes in ours--ever think of it?

depending on how you define the word "universe"
on its face it declares there can be only one
(uni)

but if you mean a discrete collection of galaxies that are separated from other such collections by some appropriate large distance,
sort of like "neighborhoods" in space, than perhaps an infinite number
then we must invent a new word to describe the entirety of the universes, such as
THE MEGAVERSE or something.
maybe superverse.
maybe omniverse. YES I like Omniverse best.

ALSO, their may be parallell universes, (or omniverses) that exist on other planes, so there may be an infinite number of omniverses.

but to me, just knowing our little tiny planet is a big enough challenge. I have trouble finding things in los Angeles

if you mean parallel universe's then you could have billions this is this idea called the bubble moddel it calims that our universe is one of many growing from on multiunivers consiting of a vaccume. each bubble would bust and create a new universe.

well lets see here, physics states that there are an infinite number of universes, in which every possible alternative to our reality are being played out. confused yet?
