Your DVD is 8 times the size of the card. You will either need a program which can compress DVDs 88% or more, or you will need to put it on 8 cards.

Otherwise, it's just physically impossible.

use it to compress the movie in mpeg or avi divx format
u will have to sacrifice quality if u compress

u can even compress the movie 256 MB but the quality wont be satisfactory

if u dont want to sacrifice quality then split the 8 gb file using this software and copy em to individual cards

It probably won't happen...because 8 gigs cannot be compressed into one gig.

However, you might be able to convert the file into AVI or quicktime, which will considerably reduce the size. Look for something called Cucusoft iPod movie and video converter...that might be able to do it.

it will depend on what format it needs to be in to watch after its on the card but sure...its real easy to rip a dvd with "dvddecrypter" then compress to an "xvid" avi type file at about 700mb and retain high quality using "autogk"...if you need to convert to other formats check out videohelp.com....all freeware btw...

You would have to conpress it somehow, I think it can be done tho.
Use divx to make the movie smaller.
