You actually found a man who could talk????!!! And sounded like he was willing to listen????!!!! Men's brains move very, very slowly and men cannot mulit-task. Give him some time to think and smile at him. Men are simple creatures.

Sorry, sounds like he's freaked out. Most guys get that way when women confess their love, especially when it's a short amount of time they've known you. If that's the case, keep your trap shut next time and wait it out...in the beginning, it's usually infatuation, which can turn to love, but the best way to save your face is to wait until you are absolutely sure before declaring it. Sex is supposed to be part of a romance. There should be no questions involved but the lovemaking should progress at a level agreeable to both. Like the old saying"Love is never having to say your sorry". Sex is never having to ask what to do. The inner feelings guide two lovers and no words are needed.
