I started smoking when I was 14 and stopped when I was 17. I was a three pack day smoker during that time. It was the best decision I ever made in my life! I was going downhill fast! I had shortness of breath real bad! Everything I wore smelled like smoke and stunk really awful. I couldn't relate to other people unless they were smokers. It was a vicious cycle of which I am glad to be free of!

Boy did I ever, and regret having ever started. I smoked for 20 years - the problem was that I smoked Pall Mall non filtered cigarettes to the tune of 4 packs a day. I quit October 25 1979 and believe that I added years to my life. Never start. It ain't cool. It is highly addictive and why become a slave to tobacco? Aren't we the higher order? That means that we can overcome our desires when those desires are not healthy for us.

I started smoking when I was eleven, and quit when I was fifteen. Now I occasionally have a cigarette when I'm drinking, but it still has effects on my health. Don't ever start smoking!
