Dr. Rice was a great choice for our Secretary of State, and has already done a great job with anyone in the Middle East who cares anything about peace. The only practical way to reach the terrorists is with a .50 calibre or a bunker buster.

She's totally the wrong person to send. 1) she's a woman and Arabs don't respect women. 2) she's black & Arab's don't respect black women even more than white women. 3) she knows nothing about middle east history or politics. 4) she's American & Arabs don't respect Americans. 5) no one can say her name in THIS country-- imagine trying to say it THERE!
Frankly, if she wants a vacation, she should consider someplace safer.

We need to show the world that we support Israel, and she will set a precedent for other countries to follow. We need to go before other countries do, to show that we are still the most powerful nation on Earth. Oh, and dbikeguy1, the Jews in Israel do respect women, it's the terrorist Muslims in Lebanon (Hezbollah) that hate women.

You're right there ... unfortunately, apart from anything else, these people are both sexist and racist ....and sending a woman, and a black woman at that, would probably be considered an insult and achieve absolutely nothing worthwhile...

No I do not. She may be able to do some thing but Hezbollah leaders may not talk with a woman and she is black and not Muslim. She is in my mind the best person to talk with them. In Hezbollah`s world she would be as low as a dog to them.
