If you think the above IS a womans "choice", then you do not think a man should be FORCED to be responsible for the baby, right?

Is it the GOP's choice to tell a woman that she and her baby can die during childbirth, that they can die on the streets due to lack of money, that she can abandon the baby, rather than stop the growth of the baby before it is even human and spare it a horrible life?

NO, IT IS NOT...

That is a hard one because people don't always choose to have sex and so they cannot always choose to have a baby. Also people cannot choose to have a baby just because they want one. For the most part I think that woman need have the ability to choose if they want to put their body through a pregnancy and be able to terminate the pregnancy for any reason.
Sperm and eggs are haploid cells they are only single sells with half the chomosomes to create life, when they come together you get a Zygote, which grows into a blastisist that will turn into a fetus, both zygotes and bastisists are only a bundle of cells. I don't remember all of the stages so there may be more but a fetus usually has more form to it than any of the previous stages but doesn't have anything like brain waves for a few months, and they cannot feel pain.

It is her choice if she wants to keep it in her body and have a baby or to donate for the research of stem cells...as long as the father agrees to either one. I'm assuming this is what you are talking about. If not, I'm taking this opportunity to voice my opinion about stem cell research.
And it is just a clump of cells until a certain stage. If there is no functioning heart or brain, then we can't very well call it a person yet, can we? Whether you think abortion is right or wrong, why can't we use it to our advantage and try and cure some deadly diseases? The embryos are going to be disposed of anyways, so why not use them to help mankind? I am way on the other end of the spectrum with the President on this decision.

here in lies the duality of the Left's views. It is a woman's right to have an abortion but the father who had just as much to do with it as the woman has no say. Conversely if the man never wanted to have a child he is still forced to pay for it. If the Woman gets pregnant but never wanted she can just abort it. I think there should be no murder option here. There should be two options; First be an adult and take on the responsibility (a word the left hates) or (and this is just as good) give it up for adoption.

No, it's a natural biological process. A baby, in biological TERMS, is a PARASITE because it lives off the mother (that's the definition). It cannot sustain itself and therefore up to the decision of the mother to keep it or not. But that's beside the point. A man has NO SAY in it because it's not growing inside him. All he did was pump sperm into her. He doesn't go through the 9 months of pregnancy nor thru the pains.

I wonder if all these answerers will read this ...

If its 100% a woman's right to continue a pregnancy, then why should the man have any financial responsibility about the outcome either way?

Well? If its 100% her issue, then the man obviously has nothing to do with it, so why is he hit up for cash afterwards?

Ah ... you don't like that reasoning, do you?

Its a COUPLE's right, you morons, not a woman's right. Otherwise, be honest enough to sign over your child support.

I´ve seen many women who regret having an abortion, but I´ve never seen a woman who regretted having the baby.

The woman has the choice to kill the baby if she wants.

However, making a baby develop is something natural, and it doesn´t happen because the mother wants. it just happens inside of her. The woman doesn´t sit on her couch thinking "okay let me get that central nervous system done now!"

Yes. The woman has first the choose of how to become pregnant- sperm bank, sex, condom turned inside out, doctor's office (infeto fertilization)----Then she has ways to end it- come full term, miscarriage, abort, still birth, willing to rid herself of the unborn fetus, and others. I don't think she can will herself to become pregnant, though. What I mean is that I don't think that one day a woman can say to herself "I'm pregnant" and it be--you do need the sperm to help will yourself to a pregnant state- you must want a child in your life at the time or you can find ways to rid yourself of it.

It is a woman's choice......And if the woman gets pregnant at a time in her life when she isn't ready for children,,,,, it was also her choice to have sex without birth control.....
This question is lame and at this point in time no couple has any excuse; barring rape, incest, and danger to the mother in the Early stages,,, to use abortion as birth control....
It only shows how lazy and irresponsible you truly are...

Well, it's not just a woman's cells, but yes, it's a choice, always.
