My husband is a car mechanic. I would encourage you to get it towed to either a dealership mechanic or another type of mechanic as you will NOT be able to fix this yourself. Probably some type of connection inside of your engine went wrong; I know that when a vehicle is undrivable it could be anything from the transmission to a problem with the spark plugs to some sort of wiring problem in the engine. You need to have it checked on. It sounds like you didn't do proper maintenance, otherwise those kinds of problems can be foreseen. Going to a GOOD shop to get your oil changed will keep you on top of it.

It sounds like you have a rod knocking in your engine. Which means a complete rebuild on your engine. If the knock is not that bad ie. loud, than you can try using premium gas and that should help the knocking.

properly if it isn't any longer taking position each and every of the time then it isn't any longer terminal. only turn the radio up. i'd start up irritating even as/if some thing falls off.....it truly is not likely. it is an old motor vehicle, this stuff are to be envisioned. Cylinder heads do not "blow"

I think some part in engine is broken or is about to break, caused by lack of lub oil. It could be timing chain, piston ring.

it sounds like two things a bad piston, or you have some bad valves. If It is REALLY loud it is your piston slapping around in the cylander. If it is somewhat like a ticking noise, it is your valves.
