No, I'm not pregnant. But when I'm older, married, and devoted to my man and get pregnant, what are the chances of it being a girl?

My whole Family(both sides) consist of this-
6 cousins ALL female.
2 2nd cousins, one boy and one girl
2 uncles- one by blood.
and of course my dad and grandpa, and mom, grandma, and aunts(1 deceased)

What are the chances of me having yet another baby girl?

50/50.

There are things you can do (like go by when you ovulate, and there's some kind of temperature method, and a few old wives tales) that can influence the gender of your baby, but it has nothing to do with your genetics.

Girls can only pass on X chromosomes, and guys can pass on either an X or a Y. If a sperm carrying an X gets to the egg first, it'll be a girl. If it a Y, it'll be a boy. No matter how many other girls there are in either of your families.

It has nothing to do with you but rather the man. His sperm are divided as male and female genes. The male sperm are smaller, swim faster but don't live very long. The female sprem are bigger, slower but live longer. Using that info when the time comes to conceive for you there are some methods you can try (date around ovulation you have sex and positions etc.) to get the gender you want but none of which are 100%.

Its really 50/50, but you dont need to look at what you have....Women have only the X (or Y cant.....also this is all women it has nothing to do with your family history) and the mans chromosones are what determines the sex of the baby. You need to look at his side and you may be able to get somewhat of an idea, but nothing is for sure.

50/50 like everyone else. Basic genetics dictates that the gender is up to the man, so it cannot possibly run in your family. And basic biology dictates that men produce X and Y sperm in equal numbers.
