definately if you have have the opportunity to move over because the guy behind you wants to go faster...then move...whats the big deal get out of the persons why and go on about your journey...no one gets hurt, no one gets mad everyone is happy and driving...if you just stay their your only making the other person mad and have road rage and may even cause an accident...just pass whoever it is your trying to pass and drive once he passes you then go back in the left lane if you want...just move over

Yes, if you can do so safely. Remember the golden rule, "Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You". I'm not sure if there is a law about driving in the passing lane, but it seems to me if you are doing the speed limit you should have a right to stay in that lane. I think we should use the left lane only for passing and making left turns. Just remember someone may have an emergency and need to go ahead even if they are breaking the speed limit. We are more prone to drive in the left lane in city traffic than on the interstate.

Yes, you pass if you have the space and you have the time w/o cutting off the car traveling at a faster speed. But don't if you know your car doesn't have the power to accelerate as quickly.

you reduce your speed and drop in behind the car you were trying to pass. That car coming toward you has the right away.

Yes. I hate slow drivers in the 'fast' lane. You should move over.

If I can, yes. Unless I'm passing a really slow semi truck, then I pass and move over.

Sure they must be in a rush for a reason. One time we didn't move over and a guy showed us a bloody rage.
