for a couple weeks my left ankle and left hand have a weird sensation in them or a feeling. i cant really describe it other then a very weird onnying sensation. my ankle or hand has nno sign of swelling peaple tell me but i was wonderying if there cna just be a feeling or sensation of swelling rather then the look?

It sounds more like you possibly had a pinched nerve or nerve damage. Sometimes, this resolves on its own. If the feeling persists, see your doctor.

Swelling can have a feeling, like the skin is being stretched or even just a weird feeling. But swelling is usually obvious. Plus, swelling doesn't happen randomly, there is usually a reason. If you are having strange sensations in your hands and feet, it would probably be more likely that you have bad circulation. Regardless, you should probably see your doctor to check everything out.

No if it is swelling it would feel hot, look red and it will get inflamed. If it does not look like that then it is something else. Try thinking about your diet or maybe you bruised it doing something.
