I love spiders unless they're on me. They eat mosquitos and they're pretty.

I hate them - i get the sweay palms the whole shabang! i have got a pyramid trapdoor thing that i can fling them out of the window in - more humane - but i have been known to drop a phone directory on them in the past! I once had a dream that a spider was on my face and when i woke up and pulled the pillow closer to my face a huge spider ran out from under it -thank you ms subconcious! i too have held a tarantula when i did a zoo keeper for a day thing and the guy who 'made' me do it said that i have a phobia about the house spider as they are so unpredictable whereas the 10in monster in my hand is slower and more able to evade!!!! i love snakes - i've handled a cobra in the past, lizards, whistling cockroaches, I've even been up close and personal with a wolf, but the sight of a house spider makes me heave - hey i know what you mean about fred i had a george who had a son and a son and a son until i used nuvan staykill which you can get from the vets its pricy but it kills the slipperly little suckers and it works for six months

I can understand your fear, well I can, if you live in Australia or somewhere else with dangerous spiders. I once squished a spider that had crawled into my shoe whilst I was shopwering in Australia, turned out it's more poisonous than the funnell web, but it's fangs cannot puncture human skin, oh how the Australians laughed at me!
In the UK spiders should be looked after, I'd rather see a spider in my house than a load of flies. Spiders do a good job and are nothing to be afraid of.

Dude, I would rather sleep with Rosanne Barr than be around a spider. I actually owned two tarantulas once to try to overcome my fear of spiders. I got to where I could pick them up in my bare hand and finally overcame my fear of tarantulas, but to this day if I see the tiniest spider anywhere in my county it makes me jump and scream and cry in terror. Then I blow the little b@stards away with a double-barrel 12 gauge as soon as I can. For sure I will go to spider hell when I die. Freakin' arachnids.

I wish I didn't but unfortunately I suffer from Arachnophobia (the fear not the movie). Maybe if I didn't have it I could live in harmony with spiders and help them to build webs etc. Then I could get them to return the favour and mankind and spiders could live in peace and unity and we could build a Utopian society through the brotherhood of man and spider. No wars, no hatred just people and spiders all living happy and peaceful lives.
But NO this b****** Arachnophobia stops me from realising my beautiful dream.

Lol that's kinda harsh...
I love spiders because I am so terrified of flying creatures. A moth brushed my hand yesterday and I burst into tears and scrubbed my hand with soap for five minutes. I'm twenty years old, this is not acceptable.

No, I wouldn't like a big one running over me right enough, but usually I put them outside with my spider catcher. They eat flies, so I help them to outside where they can eat more of them.
