It wouldn't surprise me. They may be doing so because the women and children are harboring or aiding the enemy. Does that make it right? Not at all. I don't think any nation during a time of conflict or war has ever refrained from torturing or killing the innocent. It looks as though even the US has done it at times. Again, does that make it right? No. It's an unfortunate event in any case and should be stopped. However, Israel is our ally and we will probably end up condoning their actions.

Charlie Rose is an anti Semite of the 1st degree. Try the Amnesty International site to see if there are any real problems They will know them, Israel has never been on their list for mistreating prisoners. Sorry.

I'm curious what the "Charlie rose" show calls torture? In this day and age when media attention is on everything, and winning the minds and hearts of the world is critical I sincerely doubt that Israel is about to torture a child. Might they hold some against their will to keep them out of harms way - sure - but torture? I sincerely doubt the source but welcome a link to a story to see who's writing it and why?

This is ,I must say, a very painfull truth, that in spite of all this anti-terrorism campaign all around the world, people havent recognized that inocent people have been subjected to such inhumane circumstances.
Thousands of palestinian women & children are arrested without charges, in a clear act of discrimination and racist approach.
What has the world done against this? how has the leader of the free world acted against it? Does anyone really care about freedom ? liberation? equality? fraternity ?
I leave you the liberty to answer these questions in the manner that releives your chests.

...which shows how beautiful Islam is. This religion ordered Muslims to defend themselves against others attacking them, yet Muslims are not allowed to attack or come near the attackers' women, children and old people.

In a nutshell, although Islam is a great religion, yet media screws its image up while glorifies the picture of the offenders.
