around £50 - 70 if I'm not wrong. I have friends who used to study in UK.

Depending on your financial situation, this is a good way to work it. My friend did this and it paid her way through Uni:
She rented a 3 bedroom house at about £500 p/m; advertised the rooms as shared rooms (2 people per room - all students) and charded £200 per person.
So she had £800 p/m coming in, £500 going out, £300 extra income and was living there herself for free. All bills shared 5 ways.
* You need to take their VISA details to cover bills/damage and runners.

http://www.accommodationforstudents.com/searchresults.asp?area=Any+Area&searchtype=quickcity
This link for dorms -

If you have any problems you can go into uni and ask at the desk and they will help you, theyre friendly.
