Look into your mirror, to see what's inside
From yourslef you try to hide

Try to figure out what you're all about
Maybe rage, happiness, mystery, or greed
When you hide from yourself, you won't suceed
To find yourself, look in your heart

Why is everyone so damned obsessed with rhyming poems?! They're tacking and sound manufactured. Honestly hon, it sounds just like every other poem written by 12 year olds trying to find meaning in their pathetic suburban lives. Have you ever read real poetry before in your life? Go get some Allen Ginsberg and and William Blake and Omar Khayyam. Then come and talk to us about poetry.

I think it was good but that this is the kind of poem that would be better with an open theme - i.e. not rhyming - no that you can let your thoughts flow. Good job though.

that is a really good poem for a person your age! i totally understood it, most of the time i hate poems, but yours was pretty straight forward. i like it.
