I read about Spider-man outing himself on Yahoo!News the other day, and now I'm crazy. I have to read the whole thing. I don't live near any comic book stores, so the only comics I can ever get are at my local large bookstore - Borders, Walden, Barnes & Noble, and they don't really sell actuall comics.

Absolutely! Graphic novels are a cash cow for all publishers. It will probably come out in an over-sized hardcover too.
You might want to try a mail order comic service. They usually give a discount. Here are a few:

mmcomics.com

Marvel often collects their major storylines in trade paperbacks. You might call a comic book store or look online to see if they are going to do it and when. You could try e-mailing someone at midtowncomics.com

get "bit lord" and download the "civil war" torrent from torrentspy.com or thepiratebay.net and read it to decide if you truly want it before you spend cash on it.
