Alright so here is my scenerio:

I have been on the ortho-evra patch for about 3 years and never messed it up befor BUT I forgot to take one with me on vacation. It was my period week so I didn't have one on at all and was supposed to put on patch #1 on Sunday. I put patch #1 on late tuesday/ early wednesday (like 11pm-12am) but I had unprotected sex on Monday (a few times) and Tuesday. I didn't take the morning after pill until Friday.

So

9 days patch-free, Plan B 96-120 hours after the dirty deed.

I am experiencing symptoms that are really abnormal for me:
- feeling quisy and sick all day to the point of almost vomiting
- leg and back cramping for no reson at all
- really really bad fatigue, almost impossible to get out of bed
- sever and localized migrane headaches
- constipation
- period-like cramping
- insomnia and feeling hot

Maybe those are just a reaction to the morning after pill?

What do you think?

it's most likely your body reacting to the mourning after pill...they're not exactly tic tacs you know they basically have to send a chemical signal to your body saying that you're not suitable to carry a child and not to implant if the egg is fertilized. however the mourning after pills are only 75% effective......but i don't think pregnancy is causing your conditions...just a body's reaction to the medication you took. give it a day or two you'll be ok

The pill has to be taken within 72 hours of having sex. So you should be fine if you had sex on Monday/Tuesday and took the pill on Friday. Also, you usually arent fertile the week after your period...so you should be fine! Next time...USE PROTECTION and you wont get yourself into these stupid situations!!!

sounds like the reaction to the morning after pill. but yes there is a slight possibility you can be pregnant. it's not 100%. also if you stop taking the patch you can have withdrawal symptoms similar.

Actualy those pills arent guarenteed. Just like with condoms or birth control pills nothing is 100%. You should go to the doctor for help to make sure you are or aren't

Well it could be side effects from the pill since it's a large dose of hormones that your body wouldn't be used to. Especially if it's combined with hormones from your patch.

I think it would have been easier to just send your husband or boyfriend out to the store to get a box of condoms. Either that or you're a hypochondriac.

If you took it more than 72 hours after, you probably could be.
