Great O - Horrible D - They'll make the playoffs, but will not beable to score against the Ravens or the Steelers in the first round. 10 - 6 or 11 - 5.

If they improve on Defense...they still have a struggle for Wild Card sadly. San Diego is still a very decent team, even without Brees..but the real trouble is Jacksonville for the other wild card. If KC can get 11 wins, I expect a wild card (Denver is going to take their division). Pittsburg will probably take the 6th seed again, but no miracles are happening this time. Chiefs probably wont make the super bowl this season, but if they improve their defense next offseason, they'll be a good contender in the 07 season.

I would say no. They have the star power for it but i dont know if the team is young enough and can stay healthy enough to compete against the other great teams in the American league. I would say definetly if they were in the national league however unfortunately you have to beat out at least 3 of these teams. Ravens, jaguars, colts, patriots, bengals, steelers, dolphins, chargers, broncos. Many of these teams are vulnerable but I believe they are too good to let the kansas city chiefs into the playoffs ahead of them. It really all lies on the shoulders of trent green and larry johnson. The defence isnt going to do much so its up to larry and trent to score alot of points. I think they can do it but not enough to make the playoffs.

if they hand the ball to LJ 25+ times a game and he has the same sucess of last year, with a little help from a thing called d-fense (something they knew little of last year {see cowboys game})they will go undefeated. 2100+ yards he is a beast. I dont even like the chiefs.
