iam an indian planning to do my m.b.a in usa, i'm doing my 2nd yr in college now, majoring commerce, i need to know what are the extracurricular qualities i need to impress the universities.

I don't think extra-curricular activities account for a lot in the decision of colleges regarding granting u admission...what matters most is ur letter of intent (as to why u want to do this course..and why esp. in America), ur references (esp. from ur College Professors and Instructors), your prev. academic performance and ultimately as to how do you intend to pay the hefty tuition fee.
Go and chk out the colleges web-sites that offer programs u r interested in...also talk to people around you who might have studied in America...see what they might have to say.
