Any game hosted through tho SoE (sony online entertainment) have monthly fees. Final Fantasy, Everquest, and Champions of Norath (realms of everquest) run on those servers. Most games are fre for online play. Games like SOCOM US Navy Seals, all EA sports games, and most other online games. But if you do see the SoE tag on a game, expect a fee to be required.

Only one that I know of that cost money is Final Fantasy XI, which is a subscription MMORPG. The rest are free to play online, but you have to already have an internet connection and the PS2 adaptor.

i dont know the exact answer but the games that have the letters S C E A in the spine of the box are free to use online.
