Personality because that runs so much deeper than physical appearance. Someone can be very beautiful, but if he/she is hideous on the inside, what good are they?

Of course it depends on who the compliment is coming from. I like for my husband to tell me I look nice... which is rarely. But for someone to compliment your personality is very flattering. Your personality is how people perceive you... it's a very personal thing.

If your stuck up, definitely your looks, but if your worth anything at all, a compliment about your personality is much more flattering.

I honestly find it more flattering to have people compliment me on my personality, especially when they find me funny or even the fact that I can have someone crack up on something I say..I love that....Ive never been one to be comfortable with compliments on my looks..Unless it was someone that I was interested in of course. But with my overall experiences with alot of "weirdos" I just tend to not appreciate compliments...Im weird I know!!!

A compliment is a compliment, but it really depends on who its coming from for me and how genuine the person is being. I like to be complimented on either, but only from people that are saying it for real, and not trying to swoon me into their bed.

Well, appearance is easier to notice at a glance, and women seem to pay more attetnion to compliments about appearance. So I'd have to say, compliments about looks.

Personality, definitly. I just feel awkward when people give me physical compliments but when they tell me something they enjoy about me as a person I feel really great.

PERSONALITY!! Looks fade!! Any guy that likes you JUST for looks is not worth the time anyhow! It is nice to be complimented for your looks too, but if I had to pick, definitely personality!
