ofcourse from seeing the bones, but i mean specifically, what bone of the body shows more that a girl is anorexic, the leg? the hip? the ribs you cant see unless your at the beach, i mean at first look, seeing one walking down the street with long sleeve shirt and some pants, how can you tell then by the face??

From the look itself. Sunken eyes, sparse hair, dry tongue, tiredness, slurring speech, irregular gait ,bony appearance.

See I dont agree with some of the answers above, because I make many people think I have an eating disorder and I dont. I love food way too much. I eat too much in my personal opinion, but others can still see my ribs and hip bones really clearly. I dont think just seeing bones is a good judge because I have such a high metabolism that you can notice a difference in my body weight after just sleeping.

Mostly its a lack of muscle definition in the anorexic girls. They are starving themselves to the point where the body is breaking down ther muscles in an effort to provide nutrients to the rest of the body.

Since both type of women would have clothes on. I would ask both of them out to lunch and see how they respond after they eat. I presume the one that is unhappy with eating might not want to eat or excuse herself first to the bathroom to vomit the food. In the picture displayed next to your question is a thin women, She does not seem anorexic by first sight. A famous singer died of that, Karen Carpenter. She died of a cardiac arrest-heart attack brought by her anorexic life style.

If the girl looks sick. Even though someone may be real slim and look sick you can still tell if they are anorexic because they just don't look healthy. Pail yellowish in color.

you can count a anorexix girls ribs and bones...moreover a slim girl has a natural textured skin and huemoreover a amorexic girl is pale and looks tired all the time...

The girl who is naturally slim will be proportionate where the girl who has anorexia will not be. You can also tell by muscle tone and how healthy they look.

naturally slim girl is energitic and buzzes with energy, whereas an anorexic doesnt.
