The first answer is correct. But now assuming that you are scottish and hold an English or Scottish passport, or that you are entitled to one, you just need formal acceptable I D such as a driving licence. I suggest however that you check the required I D with the travel operator or airline, as not all forms of ID are accepted.

As the UK is part of the EU you won't need a passport but you'll need to take some form of photographic ID, so most people just take their passport anyway.

It depends on which part of Ireland you are going to. If your going to Northern Ireland then I think you could get away with just your driving licence but if your going to southern Ireland then that is a big Yes you need your passport.

i think you need some form of identification. whether that be your passport or an id card. i think a photocard driving licence is ok. probably best to take your passport anyway, if possible. also, it's like someone else mentioned, it may depend on your nationality.

It depends where you are from? You might need one to go to Southern Ireland but I guess you are not from the UK as you spelt Ireland incorrectly, so probably yes.
