I happen to have done some research on this issue and I believe this depends on the culture of the society. More cosmopolitan cities tend to be more open about this subject yet there is also conflict with some religions therefore it is hard to judge. Personally, I think gays are born with their own kind of preference and so should not be ostracised.

I think gays are just people who have been born with a predisposition for being attracted to the same sex. As more research is done, I think science will prove that's the case. They're just people who feel, think, and behave like everyone else, good and bad. I do think a large percentage of them are extremely talented and creative. Without them, our world would be a less beautiful place.

I think pedophiles could make the same argument gays do about being born that way. I think the more accepting society becomes the more gay people there will be. And, I think the idea of gay marriage is an absolute absurdity because every single gay-affair ends sooner or later, because they are the most dysfunctional relationships I have ever witnessed. I have had lesbian neighbors and gay neighbors, and let me tell you, they fight, they fight all the time.

Since I myself am a lesbian, I think gays are great! I think we are very much just like anybody else, we all just happen to share one trait in common. I think of it very much like any minority group. Within any minority group, such as the African-American community, the Latino/a community, or the Asian-American community , the members share one common trait, but in every other way are very different. Although the society we live in would like us to think that all Asian-Americans are super intelligent nerds, there are plenty who want to grow up to be rock stars, and not nuclear physicists. It's just another trait, it doesn't totally define the way that one lives.

I have said it before, but for your benefit, I will, if I may, repeat myself. I fully understand and can accept that a man can love another man and that a woman can love another woman. I have no problem with whatever Lesbians get up to, none whatsoever. However, I cannot, and never will accept Buggery between two men as a 'loving' act. I find it totally unacceptable, unnatural and animalistic.

i think it's awful that some ppl think that love can't be expressed in that way. love, no matter what form, is beautiful...plus i happen to know a very nice gay personally, so maybe that influenced my opinion. they've been in society for so long. almost every tv sitcom has a gay guy, right? it's time to accept them for who they are.

I have no problem with homosexuals whatsoever. Whatever they do and whoever they do it with is none of my business so long as they're not hurting themselves or others. I think they should be allowed to be legally married just as heterosexuals if they so choose, and they should be allowed to raise children just like anyone else.
