I agree with you the new Yahoo! page is pretty crappy. There are two methods for getting the old Yahoo! page back:
1) The first method is to check at the bottom of the main Yahoo! page. There should be a link the says "Switch to Old Page." The link will be in bold typeface. Click on it and it should take you back to the old Yahoo! page.
2) If that link isn't there then you have to do this manually by deleting your cookies. Assuming your using Internet Explorer, you should click "Tools -> Internet Options..." Then you click on the button that says "Delete Cookies..." Then you should click "OK" to delete the cookies. Finally, click "OK" to close the "Internet Options" dialog box. Refresh your browser and now the old Yahoo! page should be displayed. This works for IE, in Firefox or another browser you must read that browser's documentation on how to delete cookies.

they've re-branded to try and catch up with google.
unfortunatley they havn''t given users an option to switch to the old style.
