Being a mom, I would never hire someone that I met on the Internet. Most business will come from word-of-mouth. Do you have any family members with children that you could keep? That would probably be the best way to go about it. They could tell people that they know about you and then you will start getting calls. Asking this kind of question on here should send up a "red flag" for parents. Good luck though!

I wouldn't hire you if you were the last babysitter on Earth.
1) You're advertising on the Internet. For all I know you could be a psychopath or, at the very least, have some serious mental issues
2) You're specifically requesting to babysit for "cute new baby girls" What's wrong with ugly, older, 4 year old boys? Or how about a 10 year old girl? Why specifically requesting newborn girls? When people babysit, it's generally because they want to make money.
3) I get the feeling from the way you worded your post that you're young. If you really are who you say you are, I generally don't trust young girls (other than family members) to watch my kids. Most teenage girls don't have the experience to handle a newborn baby or a rambunctious toddler.

I think you're going about it the wrong way. Any mom who hired a babysitter off Yahoo! Answers would be insane.
Try posting some signs around town. But first, try taking an infant CPR class to make yourself more desirable as a babysitter. It's great that you're trying to find a job that you'll enjoy.

Hmmm...why are you just into baby girls? There are people in Seattle who have baby boys too who may need a sitter.
Sounds like you are up to no good.

My daughter was ugly when she was born but she's absolutely gorgeous now. Seattle is a bit of a way away from me. I'm in the UK. Thanks for the offer though :-D
