I hate series finales. They never get it right and the characters are often out of character. It's always "We sold the house" or "We're going off to college", etc.

I guess my favorite was Sledge Hammer, a spoof on L.A. police shows. The last scene was Sledge trying to dismantle an atomic bomb without any knowledge on how to do so. Of course, the bomb blows up destroying all the main characters and downtown L.A. (While watching the mushroom cloud rise, you can hear Hammer' boss yell, "HAMMER!!!")

Funny thing is ABC changed their mind about cancelling the show and they produced a few more episodes. Go figure.

The Series Finale to M*A*S*H has to be the best of all time. It was well done and put an end to one of the very best series' ever to grace television.

I can say what wasn't...the Will & Grace series finale was terrible.

I would have to say the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Alias, and That 70's Show were my favorites.

Will and Grace, and Frasier.
]And though this wasn't a series finale, the episode of News Radio after Phil Hartman died was sweet.

I hated the sequence finale of Medium. after all that Allison and Joe had long undergone and for them to kill him on the commencing up of the tutor and whilst they did the completed dream sequence, they on no account confirmed all the ladies grown up and then we pass by all of this just to confirm that Joe did truthfully die. It grew to become into unhappy. BTW Spike did not truthfully die. the amulet secure him and he grew to become up as a corporeal being in the in simple terms real season of Angel. They later found out a thank you to hold him totally lower back as an undead vampire.

Six Feet Under. I cried my eyes out.

The Newhart finale was funny too - when he woke up next to Suzanne Pleshette and discovered it had all been a dream...
