When I was younger I never had a bed wetting problem. I may have wet the bed two or three times before I turned 4 and that was it.

I'm 31 now. THe other night I was asleep and I woke up with what felt like gas. I thought I would go back to sleep and it would pass on it's own. I went back to sleep and I immediately entered a dream where the pain in my lower abdomin was unbearable. I didn't wake up, though. It got worse and worse, and then all of a sudden I woke up and the pressure/pain was gone and I was peeing myself inbed.

Has this ever happened to anyone else as an adult? Has it turned into a long term problem or only isolated instants?

Well, if this is the only time it has happened, maybe you just had to go REALLY bad, but because you were sleeping, you didn't even realize. Sometimes, if I am so tired and so out of it, I misjudge what the pain is. I have been in a dream once and have had pain, and have woken up to the need to pee. Although I have never wet the bed, I sure booked it to the bathroom quickly!

I would just keep an eye on it. If it keeps consistently happening, you may have a bladder condition or something, and you may want to see a doctor. But if this is the only time, it may have just been an accident...literally.

It happened to me once as an adult and I wasn't drunk. It was similar to what happened to you. I was having a dream and in the dream I was taking a leak. It felt really good in the dream and then of course I woke up peeing! I felt stupid at the time but it didn't happen again so I forgot about it until I saw your question! As long as it doesn't keep happening I wouldn't worry about it. Just try to not drink a lot before going to bed!

Contract your muscles at your penis and release as you pee. Do this several times. This helps to strengthen the muscles. Drink less than a glass of water before bed. Relax your mind and don't think so much. Stress may cause you to wet your bed. Go and relieve when you feel that your bladder's full. Don't hold the urine too long, else your muscles may be weaken.

i would say no. i i'm not as old as u. but oneday my friend and i were sharing a bed at her grandma's house. one night it was really late, i was half asleep and i had to the urge to use the bathroom. but i didn't want to face the cold. my stomach was hurting but i went back to sleep. and i started having a dream. when i woke up my whole side of the bed was wet, and i begged my friend not to roll over. the bed wetting happened one more time after this time. but that was it. i have more controll, or i'll stop being lazy and get up.

See your doctor immediately on this one. It could be nothing, it could be stress or a bacterial infection, or worse it could be an issue with your prostate. Go as soon as possible, this is no normal bed wetting issue.

You need to drink lot of water 30 minutes before going to bed and pee freely before going to bed.

the only time I have pissed the bed as an adult is when I was so drunk that I couldn't walk.
