the role of the president as leader of the free world is to have diplomatic relations with other nations and respect there input and feedback. and to use military action-when absolutely necessary. the role of our president is to send troops as a last course of action. some of the neo-cons either dont care, ignore this, or are misinformed of the role of the president.

This president doesn't believe in diplomacy, he only believes in his vision of the future, which is war, war, war until we win a final victory against all terrorists all over the world.

Since he doesn't read, he doesn't understand that at the root of all terrorism issues are political issues which need to be addressed.
This means that the war will never end. But that's OK.

It means that he can endlessly extend the power of the executive without any checks and balances against the president's power.

Diplomacy first and if absolutely necessary War. That is the doctrine any world leader uses if they belong to NATO.
The problem with NATO is not every country belongs to it and Terrorists may have been born in some country but belong to none because once they become terrorist every country denounces them except countries that support terrorism.
Rules of War have changed since Terrorism reared it's ugly head so until we and other world leaders get a real grasp on terrorism there will be a learning curve.

Neither.

The role of the president is to support and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies...foreign and domestic.

If you have a question or opinion about the current president, please state that.
