Well, in Boston you could hit any of the museums Isabella Stuart or the MFA. Maybe hit Newbury Street and Copley Place for some shopping. Fanuel Hall is always good on a rainy day too.

Going to the Fanueil Hall area is pretty good because even though it might be a rainy day most things are inside, like the dining and shopping. Also, everything is close together. You could go to the Aquarium, and from there get right on the train if you really didnt want to walk anymore. The Museum of Science is a great way to spend a rainy day, and also if you see some of the shows there will take up a lot of time.

If you can, travel by train. You may get a little damp walking to the locations, but driving in Boston is no fun, and in the rain it is a major headache. Parking is also VERY expensive.

The Aquarium is a great idea -- http://www.neaq.org

There is also the Boston Museum of Science -- http://www.mos.org - very cool. They also have a planetarium there. It is EASY to spend a whole day there.

If you have smaller ones, there is the Boston Children's Museum -- http://www.bostonkids.org - 3 or 4 floors high - TONS of stuff to do.

My favorite thing to do in Boston is go to the New England Aquarium, it also has an IMAX theatre attached that usually has some good shows. After that, Legal Sea Foods restaurant is right outside and their food is really good. The Aquarium is $18 per person and hours are 9-7 all weekend. For more info, their phone # is 617.973.5200. Good luck!!

I was just in Boston for 4 nights. You have to go to Boston. Go see a Red Sox game (if u can get tickets,,,lol :P), You're sure to meet alot of interesting people there. If you are a fan of seafood, Boston has the greatest seafood restaurant in the world. "Legal Seafood" is the name. They serve their famous New England Clam Chowder at every Democratic Presidential Inaugeration ( don't think I spelled that right, oops). That's a treat you will remember forever. I'm from Ottawa,Canada and I brought back 1 gallon of their clam chowder, IT'S THAT GOOD !!! Also, if you're looking for shopping head to Copley Square. There you will find tons of stores and shops to choose from. Also tons of restuarants.(There seem to be alot of asian restaurants on Boylston St. lol) At Copley Square is the Prudential Shopping Center wich is just below Prudential Tower. Tons of amazing stores, shops, and world class food stands. Oh bye the way,,,, Uno's Pizza on Boylston St. is the best pizza in the world. It's just a block from Prudential Center with a really friendly Starbucks beside it. "Their deep dish pizza is to die for" and the service is the nicest I've ever been treated anywhere. Hope this helps you and enjoy your stay in Boston.

I doubt it if it's going to rain. We just missed the tropical storm. It's going to be cloudy but I don't think there will be anything more of a drizzle here and there.

1) Tour Mass using the Duck Boat - reserve online.
2) Go to Lucky Strike/Changing Lanes (It's opposite Fenway Park)
3) Go to the Arnold Arboretum
4) Go see Harvard University.

Drive thru the tunnel system and try to avoid falling 3 ton concrete slabs. Drive thru Boston neighborhoods and watch the gun play. Listen to recordings of the mayor of Boston and try to figure out what he has said (http://www.mumblesmenino.us/). Throw your cigarette butt out at the driver behind you. Backup on the highway. Pay your 20 dollar parking ticket. The best thing to do in Boston and Massachusetts is leave!
