There should be a large dial (usually on the right) on the front of the machine (usually on the top). Push the dial in, select the type of load you want to do. Normal, Perm.press, delicate.
Seperate your laundry. Darks, lights, whites. Towels should be washed together (seperated darks - lights)
Read the tags on your clothes. Some require Perm. Press,,,some require delicate. Dark Perm. press is usually washed on cold/cold. Light perm.press can be cold/ cold,,,or warm/ cold. Whites (such as sheets, socks, underwear, ) is usually warm/cold or hot/warm.
Start filling up your machine and add detergent as listed on the box / bottle. Add clothes to the washer when half full. (Suggested if you're using powder).
Doing laundry is something learned, so don't be discouraged when first learning. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it and it's not that difficult to do once you've started. Trial and Error is how people learn how to do it all, so don't be surprised if you come up with pink underwear or socks....Happens to all of us. Even the veterans....Good Luck
