i have a squier showmaster guitar and with a fender humbucker.i want to know if i can replace that humbucker with a gibson 500t humbucker which is best in the world.i want to know if it can be installed and whether it will work.

Yes you can. It is an exact fit if you have the showmaster with double coiled pickups! (if you have single coils, then you will have to do some cutting and routing).

You can replace both humbuckers with 500T's if you got 'em. Just observe the polarity, and you will be fine. Use flux when you solder for a better, longer lasting connection.

I wouldnt put anything from gibson on a Fender.Thats like putting a new flag pole on a old building.Fenders are and always have been the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, if it has the same number of wires it should be easy. Just put the same color wires onto the wires in your gitar. Most music shops will do it for you if you don't want to try.

yah, just be careful with the 500t, its gotta be done right. my frnd has the same guitar...

I think you'll need a router. (The power tool, not the computer networking thingy.) You may have to route a larger hole.
