They do it because they are stupid and don't have anything better to do with their time.

I think they feel that you are some type of mystry to them, they want to know you more. But, they don't have a valid reason as Why? So, innocently they are making prank calls. They are playing with you. You also start playing with them. THis is probably the best way {out or in time will tell}.

Omg. that is like the oldest thing in the book now listen first they will that next step is to actually talk to you more like get to know you. well any ways they do that cause they like you and maybe they call you cause the want hear your voice or when they call they just dont have any thing to say because their nervous or if its not that they jus prank calling you cause they stupid

Alright you can't sit there honestly and tell me you've never prank called someone. What reason does anyone do it for. Because it's fun entertainment.

People do it out of boredom and immaturity...get you a whistle and the next time one of them calls, blow that thing as LOUD as you can into the phone...
When their head stops ringing, they may have second thoughts about calling you again...
...or block their phone numbers

they want you. Call them out one time, say This is either, name, name or name. I bet once they know you know, it will slowly stop. You know you can block calls with no caller ID forcing them to show their number. That too will stop the calls.
