I think they just live in the "now" and don't think about long term. They don't have proper guidance and communication from their parents (especially mother). They are desperate for not only love, but physical affection, and a connection to another human being.

Their nieve and stupid and don't think about how hard it really is being a parent until it actually happens. I was 18 when I gave birth to my daughter and damn that was hard enough as it was. I would never hope that a 15 year old would want a child but the females are getting younger out there and having children. It's honestly sad.

Because at that age children believe they can do anything, so when they are good at babysitting they think they can handle a child of their own. I believe that those health class projects when students have to take care of a baby doll that really cries helps teach children how hard taking care of a child really is.

They don't feel loved, and want someone of their own to love.
They can't think far enough into the future about their education or lack of it, a job to support the child, all the expense of raising a child, etc.

I don't think anything is 'wrong' with them, they are just confused and think they are grown. They think that having a baby is the next logical (for them) step to becoming an adult. How wrong they are!lol I do also think it the maternal instinct coming out and they think that just b/c they have a baby that someone will understand them.
