How do u get urself out of a fashion rut?

I tend to stick to clothes that i already kno look good on me and don't explore new interestin styles

go to stores you normally don't shop at, look in magazine for clothes that are different and shop only for those clothes. If you have a friend that dresses different and you like their style, take them shopping with you to help pick out some stuff.

Go to a shop, get an assistant to give you an honest opinion. Or get your friends to help you choose whats in.
