for you poeple that support the war iniraq, why iraq? i beleive there are many other countries that are proven more dangerous to america than iraq has ever been. for example north korea and iran. north korea is activly pursueing nuclear weapons but yet america just says diplomacy must work with them. iran is highly suspected of pursueing nuclear weapons and has definite hatred of america but yet we don't give them an ultimatium and attack, america just wants to talk talk talk.

but when it came to iraq, hardly any diplomacy or anything like they are doing with NK and iran, america just attacked, why is that?

jcpx69- america backed iraq during the iran-iraq war. america supplied iraq with traing, money and some equipment.

surem iraq has violated some UN resolutions, but so have lots of countries, and who ever said the resolution violations were serious? kind of like classifying a speeder and a murderer the same because they are both law breakers.

I support the war simply because our friends, neighbors, and relatives are fighting in it. The time for Americans to oppose this war is past. We are in it now, and we must all support it and bring it to a successful conclusion so that our loved ones can come home.

Neither NK or Iran have attacked their neighbors out of nowhere in the last 30 years....while Iraq has attacked Iran and Kuwait.....we were already enforcing the no-fly zone in Iraq which Saddam consistently violated.......Iraq violated no less than 17 UN resolutions.....never owned up to NOT having WMD, and more likely sent it to Syria as we let them know we were coming.....anything else you would like to know???

Because when Bush 41 and his allies agreed to the cease fire after Gulf War I, Saddam agreed to inspections.

Saddam violated a number of UN resolutions, tried to look like he was hiding something and was supporting a number of terrorist groups around the world. GWB's actions are tied to the violations of the agreement to GW 1.

Iran and NK haven't violated the same UN resolutions.

Iraq was a defeated, castrated country that the Bush Junta figured would colapse in a hurry (He was right there). The reasoning behind his stupid move was to create a pliant client state that would allow U.S. bases that could be used to intimidate the rest of the Middle East and insure the cheap flow of oil. Worked real good, huh?

if you look on a map of the region Iran is now poised between two American strike forces. Afghanistan borders Iran on one side and Iraq on the other side i believe Iraq was a soft target to prepare for the real problem of Iran. the U.S. is probably setting up a strike on Iran from two fronts. just my belief.
