My mothers family is from Scotland/ Ireland- (Ulster) England and France (were part of the Huguenots) and my fathers family is strictly from Germany. Both my parents families both married the native american Indians (Cherokee) But my main concentration of family settled in Hazard, Ky (and some all over Ky)
So I'm quite a mixture of things. I'm proud of my heritage.

My Father's family comes from Prussia area of Germany near the Polish boarder. My Mother's Family comes from the Ukraine no that doesn't make me part Ukrainian because in Russia during the rule of the Czars there were a lot of people of various nationalities living under their rule, my mother's family as far as I know are considered to be Ethnic Germans. Germans that are born and raised outside of Germany.

My family moved from North Eastern India to Bangkok Thailand in around 1968.
I have been living here since then.
I have married a Thai lady of Chinese Origin.
We have a son and I would prefer my son get post graduate education in Europe or America and may be move to China for his professional life.

I believe in one world without national borders or visa.
One currency would be more welcome.
Actually no money (still pondering how to organize the convenience of getting things) would be best.

My maiden name was Battershell, so it's really easy to trace. Our first ancestor we know about was a Portugese fisherman who went to England with the Romans. He settled south of Cornwall, in a small town called Mousehole. Later, the family moved north to Devon, not far from Exeter. We came to the Americas in the early 1600's. How's that for more info than you wanted?

Well, my dad is from Wales, and his ancestry is also English. My mother's side, whose family now resides in Kentucky, is Irish, English, French, German, and Russian to top it all off. I think also somewhere there's probably a little Native American, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
