I see a lot of VERY BITTER women have answered this by assuming a guy must be cheating to have lost interest. Gee, is that what's happening when you women have your "headaches" or "time of the month"?
Damn!
A few of you actually considered that it might be a stress-related issue, and I commend those people for trying to be intelligent about this one. That is a definite possibility, or maybe the guy is just so driven to achieve something (getting a book written, paying off bills by working a second job), or is single so long he goes "dormant," that things just shut down for awhile. Or, maybe it's an ego thing - he has a hard time getting aroused and doesn't want to fail in the bedroom, so he lies and says he doesn't feel like having sex.
In this time, you should talk to you afflicted(?) man, letting him know that you understand and that he can tell you if anything else is bothering him. Communication is key here - if he needs a supplement (Viagra, Levitra, Cialis), let him know you don't mind him having to do that, and remind him that his doctor is not going to inform the world of his need for this (AND NEITHER WILL YOU). If it's a stress issue or a focus issue, remind him to stop and smell the roses once in awhile, and maybe you could dress a little more provocatively some night to divert his attention. Try giving him a massage once in awhile. But never make threats of any kind - that only adds to the pressure.

A man of any age, at any point in his life, "can" lose all interest in sex. There are 100's of medical and mental reasons this happens. They can generally get help for the problem, if they want too. None of the reasons, like cheating, or multiple sex acts in one night is not a validated answer. If this occurs, its so important for a wife, or girlfriend to be patient and supportative of the situation. Men have a very fragile ego. And by being harsh, will only multiply and complicate the reasons of the originial problem.

Darling the only reason a man loses interest in SEX is when he has a health problem or he has someone on the sideline. Likely a lover or a passion for hookers otherwise there is no way. Dont fool yourself sweetie and take the bull by the horns. You wont regret it.

I dont think its sex in general. I think its sex with a specific person. Men are visual beasts, they need visual stimulation, same ole-same ole will eventually bore a man.
At least thats the answer I got when I asked about men being bored with their partners. So if your in this situation, liven up your sex life. Put on a show, buy some new lingerie and be confident!

I doubt it. I think there's a possibility of him losing interest in having sex with his current PARTNER, but no, not from sex.

no it is not if a man who has always been sexually active all of a sudden stops having sex(with you)he is 99.9% clearly cheating his sex is going somewhere else and he is too tired when he gets home so the only way to play it off is to act as if he has lost interest!

Yes, it is possible. The #1 reason men and women lose their libido is lack of communication. Check this site for more reasons, both physiological and psychological :
