i would scan for wireless networks from your device (laptop, pc, etc.), you will probably find another network on the same broadcast channel. In wireless networking you need 3 channels of seperation from the next network, so your default channel should be 9, so change to six or below and it should cure the problem (providing no other networks are using those channels!). wireless overlap is becoming a major issue in built up areas with the strongest network winning, and killing other networks in the area. Typical symptoms are intermittant drop outs and DHCP problems (aquiring an IP address) which kills the network logon.

Hope this helps

I had the exact same problem with mine, it was as if it dropped the connection, but switching off and back on fixed it.

The way I resolved it was to download the latest firmware from D-Link and install it on the router. After that it worked great.

that is extremely undemanding you're plugging the DSL cable interior the Ethernet port. All SOHO routers by skill of default could have one RJ-11 Port the position You plug interior the phone Cable and four Ethernet RJ-40 5 ports the position you connect the pcs that are separated from one yet another . in case you plug them interior the incorrect ports they received't artwork . I also assume that once you plug interior the DSL cable interior the RJ 40 5 slot the DSl elementary on your modem received't glow. wish I have responded your question.
