Maybe because an 8 month old shouldn't be drinking milk (unless it's breastmilk). Does she have this 15oz in one sitting or is that a total for the day??? If it's in one sitting then that is your problem right there. At this age they should be having for one "meal" about 4 oz of formula or breastmilk with some baby food, 1 or 2 small jars depending on how much they eat or if they are going through a growth spurt.

Only about a third of the earth's population is able to digest milk products, did you know that? Try a low-fat milk. She may be lactose intolerant. Also, babies have sensative tummies. According to my mother, I wasn't digesting anything in the form of dairy. Milk or formula. She had to try all sorts of substitutes to cow's milk. I think she said I was on goat's milk for a few months until I could handle regular milk. I'm 40, now, and I love milk!
There really is no time table for what to feed a baby. Here in the west, we have this weird thing that Dr. Spock made up that most mothers seem to accept as gospel. The rest of the world feeds their babies whatever the family is having, only mashed up real well. Give your baby whatever she takes a liking to.

they make a yougurt called yo-baby it is organic and milder then the yougurt that adults eat, try that. and with the vomiting she might have a little bug or it could be from teething unless she has a skyrocketing fever I would not worry too much, try her on some clear liquids along with a little formula you also might want to try some rice cereal with her fruit when she stops vomiting.

If she is on formula, it could be the culprit. She may be lactose intolerant. Try cutting out the cow milk for two weeks and then reintroduce it slowly. That's what my pediatrition told me when my 2 month old daughter had a red rash that wouldn't go away, and it worked!

The baby needs the dairy in it but it may be just eating too fast. Be sure the dairy is not 2% , 1% or skim milk otherwise the baby will try and drink too much.

It could be the yogurt with the milk cultures in it. Babies arent supposed to eat dairy until 1 year. It may be her body is rejecting it because it is not ready for it yet.
