The last time I travelled that route was in 2004. That time the Dehradun shatabdi departed at 7am and reached at 11.30am. I guess u will get varied answers for ur question, os the best action according to me is log onto www.indianrail.gov.in Hope u find this useful and have a nice trip. Go on to Rishikesh if possible. the site will give all info about availabilty and fare.dehradun shatabdi runs at 7am and reaches at 11.30am.these are approximate timings.it runs on all days.fare depends on your ticket class.i think there are two ticket classes.one is for around rs.400 and other for 800.
