Get rid of Kent. He is D-U-N Done!

Here are the #'s this year for Kent and Ensberg.

Kent: 38 yrs old, 68 games, 36 runs, 9 hr, 44 rbis, .267 avg, 15 day DL as of 7/18 - reaggravated left abdominal strain

Ensberg: 30 yrs old, 81 games, 49 runs, 19 hrs, 44 rbis, .236 avg, "Jul 19 The Houston Chronicle reports Houston Astros 3B Morgan Ensberg (shoulder), who went on the disabled list July 13 with a right shoulder contusion, is expected to rejoin the Astros the weekend of July 22 in New York to continue his rehab."

Since Ensberg has more runs and is hitting for some power (avg stinks) and is expected back this weekend, I would keep Ensberg and release Kent. Chances are, that if you release Kent, he may not even get picked up as his numbers are drastically declining this year.

I had both also, but recently just dropped ensburg, because if you look at prior stats kent has done alot more then ensberg and kent has proven himself year after year, but either way you could never tell kent could be just over the hill now. And of course if ensburg does get on base he has berkman right pehind him.

Who do you have playing for these guys now? I would drop whichever one has a weaker replacement. Also, what type of league are you in? If you need AVG and R, then keep Kent. If you need HR and RBI, keep Ensberg.

I would keep Kent because he has Lofton and Furcal in front and Drew in bak of him.
