In 20 years assuming the US is still here, what should be the main topics I should focus on?

Im not American, Im British, but I just feel I gotta put my opinion in, I think it is a good idea for the US staying more focal to the needs of its own communities instead of being world peacekeepers, although America has played vital parts in keeping the world a safer place (Operation Restore Hope, 1993 in Somalia), although the parade has been rained on thanks to Bush (Iraq War, and the state Iraq is in now.). But, I'm planning on becoming Prime minister, I'll see you up top then!!

I do think we should focus on our nation more and make more safe havens for the homeless as well as ways to get them back into the workforce. Also institute better training programs for the welfare system b/c they expect people to get jobs off of the Wep program and that's not realistic. I myself was homeless and on welfare at one point and the system sucks. I'm grateful for Section 8 help though to get where I am today as a legal secretary.. now I'm financially independent and I hope that others can reach this goal as well. God is good.

In 20 years you will still have the middle east problem, energy problem will worse than today; China will be THE superpower; Social security would be bankrupt. Health care wont be affordable; Why would you want to be a president at that time?

As a President of the US he should focus on America.Mean while as a world leader he should focus more on the world.

Well, you should consider paying off our national debt first before you worry about others. I'm abhorred that our debt is being neglected. What the hell are they doing with our tax dollars!? >=O

Probably improving the U.S. infrastructure, like better levies for areas prone to flooding. And keep all those illegal immigrants out. Generally, we should let the world take care of itself for a while.

Yes, concentrate on domestic issues, like housing, health care and the appalling education system and stop poking your nose in other countries business!
