do you get light headed when youre bending down, or do you get light headed as youre getting up from grabbing your ankles? in some people, the sudden rush of blood to the head when lowering your head causes a dizzy feeling. your blood pressure may drop when you do this, causing you to feel light headed. when you bend over to grab your ankles, do it slowly, not too quickly, and take your time getting back up again and see if that fixes it.

It is not when you bend over...it is when you gep back up.
When you bend youincrease pressure in your belly which decreases blood flow to your heart -that was coming back from your leg and pelvis. When you get back up...for a few seconds the heart does not have enough blood to pump to your brain (agaisnt gravity) till the blood flow from lower part of your body has come back for circuilation.

All that blood rushing to your head makes you feeling dizzy and whatnot when you bend over. It happens in the opposite way when you get up too fast, at least it happens to me at times.

It could be a lot of things. In my case, when I change positions too quickly, my blood pressure drops 10-15 points which causes dizziness. Talk to your doctor, they should be able to figure out what's going on.
