I'm reasonably certain if I posed my strongly held anti Israeli views on the situation in Lebanon and Palestine,there are security measures in place that would place my name on a list which could in future reflect badly on me.How much sanctuary does Yahoo have in terms of protecting the confidentiality of its members who are only presenting their honest opinion on current events

I do not think you are important enough for CIA and Mossad to bother. But Yahoo being US based, are terribly politically "correct" and will probably delete your question within 24 hours. Nevertheless, why not try and see?
I must warn you however that anything you say, which is not unqualified praise of Israel, will immediately be labelled as racist.

If you believe in what you think then you should be prepared to say it. Then take the flack. If they have a file your probable on it anyway. I know some nice generous Jews and some great Lebanese. I also know some Americans and British I would not spent a minute with. So what ever your views someone will have the opposite. You'll be told if you overstep the mark.

always assume your views would garner interest, especially when your answer would be publicly viewed.
will mossad storm your house? unlikely.
are your views anti-semetic? that may cause a lawsuit.
I understand that some people find the israeli state a bit overbearing, but to simplify this view to just "i hate israel" will not help anyone.
