When we pick up Rx, we notice there is NO privacy. Everyone in the area hears the discussion about the med and/or medical problem who is waiting in the general vicinity. Once we heard an entire conversation about someone's mental health issues and her questions about meds. I felt sorry for the whole situation. So, Privacy!!!

I would feel more confident if someone explained to me, knowledgibly, how to take my medication. I have to take an iron pill and a multivitamin since I am pregnant, and I had the prescription filled at a Jewel Osco pharmacy. The pharmacist was kind and polite but all she gave me was a computer print out. Both medications say to take it on an empty stomach an hour or two before I eat, but from my experience, I have always been told to take vitamins with food; I will have to consult with my prenatal care doctor and visit her again to learn how to take my pills - something a pharmacist should help me with.
I understand that pharmacists have to memorize and learn many things, but maybe they should become more familiar with at least the top 100 pills; I received a straightforward orally administered iron capsule and another orally administered prenatal pill called PreCare, both of which are stocked at the pharmacy, meaning they are common. They are prescribed to pretty much ALL pregnant women. I'd feel more confident knowing that they are knowledgable of the medicine they work with.

Well both the above are good and also with repeats they either have collection from GP and u collect or Boots have free post envelopes u can hand in with repeat request to GP then u have to pick up, delivery service would be great especially for old, disabled and carers and busy 2006 lifestyle. plus think its awful for people who do not have to pay to have to sign in front of others if they have forgotten to sign prior to getting there. NHS services or DHSS should issue card like credit card plastic stating that they are entitled and just swipe it would also stop a lot of people who do swindle NHS. only active if in receipt of any pension/benefit.
Privacy on delicate issues we don't want man/woman or queue behind to know we have thrush for example and deciding on one application pessary or cream with applicator and so much more. Another one is have been in relationship with man who was quite well endowed they kept splitting juts on trying to roll on or came halfway down shaft but I would not ask if they do bigger condoms .. mind you he was a bit of a pain so it had to end but privacy and more explicit information and please tell us common side effects so we don't buy and then read leaflet and decide common side effects as opposed to rare are worse than original symptoms already experiencing as policy is no refunds that's not fair! try smiling too pharmacists so serious

Always immediately fill any prescription called in by a doctor, instead of waiting until the patient shows up.
